CAL FIRE /Pilot Rock has helped with curbside chipping in the
Rim Communities for many years. Additionally, most of the grants to fire safe councils for chipping
have come from CAL FIRE
grant programs.
San Bernardino County Fire is often able to provide chipping in various areas of the County not covered by fire safe council grants
Big Bear Fire has received grants to help its area with curbside chipping for several years under its Thin Is In program.
